Justice by Luca Giordano
On May 22, 1992, a prominent citizen of Huntsville, Alabama, was savagely beaten and stabbed to death. Twin sisters, Betty Wilson and Peggy Lowe, were arrested and tried for supposedly contracting James Dennison White, a known drug addict, alcoholic, child molester, and paranoid delusional schizophrenic, to kill Betty’s wealthy husband, Dr. Jack Wilson, a well-known and well-liked ophthalmologist.
According to White, the contract price was $2,500 upfront and $2,500 upon completion, and Betty supposedly furnished him with her 38 Smith & Wesson to do the job. He said that he spent the $2,500 and needed some pocket money to go to Huntsville to do the job, so she gave him $200 expense money in a library book she had checked out from the library to go do the job, but he didn't get around to doing the job that day.
He said the day before the murder, after he had been jogging on the street in front of her home, he was sitting on the curb, and she stopped and gave him a glass of water. And on that same day, she made a three hour trip back home from Peggy's just to give him $100 in a paper sack at a fast food joint so he could spend the night at a motel 'cause he was definitely going to do the job the next day. Not only that he said, she picked him up the next afternoon at a busy mall, took him to her home, let him out, unlocked the door to her house, handed him $40 for no reason and later, after the “crime”, she just accidentally returned home and took him back to his pickup which mysteriously had gotten from the Ramada Inn parking lot to the mall parking lot.
Peggy, an elementary school teacher and devoted Christian, was acquitted. Betty, the foul-mouthed rich bitch who flaunted her fine jewelry, furs, BMW and Mercedes Roadster convertible, as well as slept around especially with black men, was found guilty and sentenced to life in prison with no possibility of parole. White, who had made a deal with the state to help corroborate the evidence and testify against the sisters at their trials, received a life sentence with the possibility of parole instead of the electric chair. In other words, he lied to save his scum bucket ass from being fried in Yellow Mama.
After the trials, White attempted to correct the lies he had told about the twins, especially those against Betty Wilson, by recanting his trial testimony in written affidavits and appearances on national television but these confessions fell on deaf ears. No one would believe him even when he stated that the Huntsville homicide investigators coerced him by threatening him with the electric chair. AND White never actually confessed to killing Dr. Wilson. So if he didn't do it, who did?
Betty’s case was appealed all the way to the U. S. Supreme Court but was rubber stamped “denied” after each appeal.
Starting in July of 1998, I began to develop a web site for Betty Wilson’s injustice. The web site contains Peggy’s and Betty’s trial transcripts, some crime scene photos, photos of individuals involved in this case, transcriptions of two television shows regarding Betty’s innocence, White’s first recantation, case background, etc. Click here to view the Betty Wilson Home Page. The primary purpose of this web site was to seek out ANY ONE who might have some new evidence to prove that Betty Wilson had nothing to do with the murder of her wealthy husband.
On March 1, 2003, I received an e-mail from an ex-Marine and former undercover agent for the government, who knew James White and could have proven that Betty Wilson had nothing to do with the murder of her husband, but the witness was betrayed by the Three Stooges.
